Founded in 1912, the Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS® has served the real estate interests of our members and the public for over 100 years. The purpose of KAAR is to unite and serve its members, to enhance the ability and opportunity of its members to conduct their business ethically, professionally, and successfully, and to promote the preservation of the right to own, transfer, and use real property.

Professional Standards and Code of Ethics
Not all real estate practitioners are created equal. There is a big difference between a real estate licensee and a Realtor®. Only a practitioner who has agreed to accept and abide by the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Realtors® can call himself/herself a Realtor®.
Volunteer Days
Every year, the National Association of REALTORS® hosts a week of volunteering as a part of their REALTORS® are Good Neighbors program.
This year, REALTOR® Volunteer Days are June 3-11, 2023.
