The association will be closed Monday, January 18 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a day to remember Dr. King's fight for the freedom, equality, and dignity of all races and peoples through nonviolence.

KAAR staff is currently working remotely as of Tuesday morning, November 24 due to the continuing rise of COVID-19 cases. Staff is only a phone call or email away during regular business hours, 8:00 - 4:30 p.m. (EST), Monday - Friday.

KAAR Member Jackie Prater's husband, Ed Prater, passed away on 11/29/2020 from Glioblastoma, also known as glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). GBM is the most aggressive type of cancer that begins within the brain. He was diagnosed in August of 2019.
