With increasing COVID-19 infection rates continuing to set record highs in the Knoxville area, the KAAR physical office will be closed beginning Tuesday, July 7 for the foreseeable future. Scholarship Recipients

We are pleased to announce that Katie Dansereau and Sophia Foster will each receive a $2,500 scholarship toward their respective college/university. This competitive merit-based scholarship honors Barney Thompson, who passed away in 2007, after twenty-seven years of leadership for Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS®. The scholarships are funded through the annual summer solstice dinner and association & MLS fines.

Several members have contacted the association regarding offers being received on properties from an individual stating he is on an oil rig or at some other unique site and is unable to communicate by phone. The offers contain proposed very large earnest money deposits. Be careful of this potential scam situation!
