Scholarship Recipients

We are pleased to announce that Katie Dansereau and Sophia Foster will each receive a $2,500 scholarship toward their respective college/university. This competitive merit-based scholarship honors Barney Thompson, who passed away in 2007, after twenty-seven years of leadership for Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS®. The scholarships are funded through the annual summer solstice dinner and association & MLS fines.

Charles Lloyd Teague, Jr. age 75 of Knoxville, formerly of Clairfield, TN, passed away July 25, 2020. He was an agent with Century 21 Select and then Century 21 Legacy. He also served as a Claiborne County School Board Chairman. He wife, Wilma Teague, passed away three days earlier. There will be a graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery in LaFollette at 10 am Tuesday, July 28th for Charles and Wilma and will be live streamed on Weaver Funeral...
