With the holiday season comes the inevitable uptick in scams. It's been reported that several Blount Co. agents have been contacted by someone allegedly from the Blount County Sheriff's Office. Unfortunately, at least one agent fell victim to the scam and lost several thousand dollars. The scam typically involves claims of fraudulent subpoenas and warrants of arrest. Please be careful this holiday season and always.
