Safer at Home Update

Knox County's Health Department issued a Safer At Home order to begin at 12:01am Tuesday, March 24, and continue for 14 days. More information is available at (their website has been overloaded with visitors and may not be responsive at times).

Real estate is not listed as one of the types of businesses that has been ordered to close. At this time, KAAR has received word that real estate related businesses may continue to operate.

"Housing and rental services may continue, but agents should practice social distancing, hold no open houses, or gather in groups larger than 10."

We urge you to follow all health guidelines from the CDC, State of Tennessee, and your local governments closely to ensure the safety and health of you and your clients while performing the essential needs for housing in our community.

Tennessee Realtors is working on getting real estate listed as an essential service statewide so we don't have any future issues at the local government level with continuation of your business.

Members can continue to view KAAR's COVID-19 updates on our website.
