IMPORTANT: KAAR Announcement Regarding Office Reopening

Since mid-March and the arrival of COVID-19, the KAAR staff has been working remotely while continuing to meet members' needs. We take pride in knowing that we quickly rose to the occasion and didn't miss a beat when it came to the continued delivery of the extraordinary service the association's members are accustomed to. KAAR staff will return to the association's office on Monday, June 1st and we want you to know we view the reopening of the association's office as a partnership between members, the staff, and the communities in which we all live, work and play.  In order to keep everyone as safe as possible there are a few things we need to ask of you.

  •  If you are feeling sick or have any symptoms of COVID-19 we ask you to stay home and call or email staff so we can meet your needs remotely.
  •  Members should only enter and exit the building through the main front doors. All other doors will be locked.
  •  While at KAAR, maintain a 6' distance between you and others. There will be markers on the lobby floor to help you do this. As much as we'd like to - no handshakes or hugs!
  •  Please do not bring any guests, such as children or family members, into the office with you.
  •  While at KAAR, please do not hesitate to wear a mask. Many staff will be wearing them.
  •  For the first several weeks, members will only be allowed into the lobby section of the KAAR office. Staff offices will be closed to members and guests.
  •  For at least the month of June, committee meetings, courses, ethics hearings, etc. will continue to be held virtually.
  •  New member orientation will continue to be held in its current format for the time being (i.e. online ethics, MLS examination, etc.)

As much as we want things to return to normal, we feel it is vital that we reopen in a conscious, aware, and responsible way. We are excited to see you again!
