Guidance on Open Houses

Knox County Open Houses still prohibited during Phase 1 Reopening:

Knox County Phase 1: Response from the Knox County Health Dept is that Real Estate Open Houses are considered "Business-related Mass Gatherings" and are still prohibited during Phase 1 (see page 26). Virtual open houses are recommended. Showing by appointment only are still allowed - Realtors are strongly urged to follow social distancing, wearing PPE (such as masks and gloves), and cleaning/disinfecting surfaces after each showing.

Decisions regarding open houses will be distributed by County Health Departments or the Tennessee State Health Department, depending on the county. Realtors are encouraged to reach out to their state/county health department(s) to confirm regulations regarding open houses. We will post more information as it becomes available.
