Want to take a deep dive into the association and how all its pieces fit? Interested in enhancing your personal leadership skills? Do you see yourself as one day serving as a REALTOR® leader?
The KAAR Board of Directors is excited to announce LeadershipKAAR 2023! Through a series of day-long sessions held over five-months, the leadership program features opportunities to learn from renowned speakers from across the country. The curriculum allows participants to learn about themselves and their personal leadership capabilities, how to hone and apply their specific leadership qualities, and what is expected as a leader in the REALTOR® organization.
Program participants will gain enhanced professionalism, and an in-depth knowledge of the REALTOR® Association at the local, state, and national levels. Many previous participants have found the program’s knowledge-based foundation to be the ideal stepping stone to serve on association committees and the Board of Directors.
LeadershipKAAR is designed for participants of all ages and real estate industry experience with varying degrees of leadership and association service. To allow for best engagement with the instructors and fellow participants, class size is limited to no more than twelve KAAR primary members.

Unless otherwise indicated, the above sessions will be from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. In addition to the above sessions, LeadershipKAAR participants will be required to attend two pre-approved city and/or county governmental meetings (i.e. city council, county commission, planning commission, etc.) prior to June 1, 2023.
Application
Type or print in black ink. Each section must be fully completed for application to be considered. Application must be signed by the applicant and applicant’s broker. If a broker is applying, another broker will need to sign the application as well. The completed application must be received by KAAR no later than 4:30pm on Friday, January 27, 2023.
If accepted as a participant in the LeadershipKAAR program, the program fee of $595 must be received by KAAR prior to the Introduction Lunch on February 9.
