The Award of Excellence is a volunteer service provided to the members of the Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS® for the purpose of honoring those members who achieve certain and specific high standards of qualification.  It is not a contest with winners and losers but rather an opportunity for recognition for those whose qualified Real Estate Sales meet the minimum criteria for the Award.

To encourage participation and professional development in the Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS® so its members will be more active and better educated about our Association and the real estate industry, resulting in a higher level of professionalism and improved service and cooperation between REALTORS® while promoting the REALTOR® image and giving recognition to members who give of their time and efforts to further our profession.

To encourage leadership, participation and professional development in the Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS®.  The goal is to have members that are active and better educated about our Association and the real estate industry, resulting in a higher level of professionalism and improved service and cooperation between REALTORS® while promoting the REALTOR® image.   Recognition will be given to REALTORS® who began their real estate career and were approved for membership by the Board of Directors and who have been members of the Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS® less than 3 years.

REALTOR of the Year - Realtor of the Year Nomination Form
REALTOR® of the Year is the highest honor that an Association can bestow upon one of its members.  The Award is presented annually to a REALTOR® nominated by their peers, then selected by the REALTOR® of the Year Committee, which is an impartial panel made up of past REALTORS® of the Year.   The Committee reviews all nominations, taking into consideration the member's involvement in civic affairs and participation in local, state and national committees.  They also consider the member's REALTOR® spirit and business accomplishments.
