George C. Wallace

 

                                   

George is a life long resident of Knoxville, TN.  He graduated from The University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Agriculture in 1981.  He joined Wallace & Wallace, Realtors in 1983 and now along with his brother, is co-owner of Coldwell Banker Wallace & Wallace, Realtors (CBWW).  Currently, CBWW  has six offices, including offices in Blount, Anderson and Knox Counties with 275 sales associates.  CBWW ranks 38 out of over 1,250 Coldwell Banker companies in the country.  CBWW ranks in the top 200 out of all real estate companies in America in closed units and closed volume.  He and his brother were awarded the Thomas Spence Griffin Award, presented annually to the most outstanding Coldwell Banker Affiliate in 2002.  In addition to the real estate company he and his brother own and operate a mortgage company and title company. 

                                               

George has worked as a volunteer for several non-profit organizations.  He has served in all capacities with the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors. He has been director, treasurer and was President in 1999, served at MLS Chairman, Grievance Chairman and severed on Professional Standards committee. 

 

Outside KAAR, George has been the Chairman of the Community Initiatives at United Way, past member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors and past chairman of the Allocations Division.  Currently he is Chairman for Knox Housing Partnership.  Also he serves as a Deacon at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church.  George is involved with various other non-profit organizations in Knoxville.  He has given a significant portion of his life to serving others in the Knoxville community. 

 

George is married to Stephanie Wallace and they have one son, Nick.  They reside in West Knoxville.
